
Registration Steps and Policies
The tournaments fill quickly, and
teams are selected on a first come first serve basis. Since we can only
accept 60 teams for each tournament it is highly recommended that you register,
and mail in your payment as soon as possible. To get started please click
on the registration button and complete the entire application form. Upon
submitting your application you will receive a confirmation page which you need
to print and include with your payment. Your Team Registration will not be
processed until the payment is received. Use the chart below to determine the
amount of your payment. Only US certified checks or money orders will be
accepted, and should be made payable to: NORTH AMERICAN HOCKEY.

Gene Harrington Invitational Hockey
Tournaments has secured room blocks for all out-of-town teams participating in
one of our tournaments. As a condition of acceptance, all out-of-town teams must
reserve rooms through Gene Harrington Invitational Hockey Tournaments by
completing the online registration process. Teams whose home rink is greater
than 50 miles from the tournament rinks, will be considered an out-of-town team,
and will be required to comply with our hotel policies and procedures.
The hotels require a 2 night minimum stay, and that all inquiries and
reservation be made through Gene Harrington Invitational Hockey Tournaments.
Please complete the online reservation process as we will not accept
reservations via email, phone, or fax. Teams within the same organization
wishing to stay together, should state this in the comments section of the
online registration form. We will make every effort to accommodate, and ask you
to emphasis the importance of completing the team and hotel registrations as
soon as possible to improve the probability of accommodating such request.
Since team registrations are considered on a first come first serve basis, and
collecting your room requirements may delay your Team Registration, we provide
you with a 30 day grace period. After the grace period your team registration
will be placed on hold, and will not be reconsidered until payment in full is
received, and your hotel reservations have been made. Hotel bookings are also
handled on a first come first serve basis, and the choice properties fill
quickly so it is in your best interest to make your arrangements with us as soon

Please note - Teams that do not stay at the host hotels listed will be removed
from the tournament and forfeit their entry fee.
Step 3: Additional Documentation
All U.S, and Canadian teams must be
registered with their respective parent organization. A certified USA
or CAHA Hockey team roster will be required prior to the tournament event,
and can be fax or mailed. Also, please have a copy of your certified
roster, and each player's birth certificates will you at all times during the
tournament event. Please do not fax or mail the players birth certificates
as they are not required for registration purposes.

Acceptance: As mentioned above, registrations are accepted on a first come first serve basis. This preliminary acceptance does not insure placement. To provide a certain degree of reassurance that your team can compete fairly, placement is subject to our screening process, upon which your team will notified of its acceptance. We make every effort to accept all applicants, but in good conscience we will never accept a team for the sake of filling a spot as it is our goal to create an atmosphere that is conducive to having a great tournament experience whether your team has a losing record or is undefeated. Tournaments that provide upfront guarantees do not abide by these same standards, and often put teams in bad situations such as uneven competition, or last minute cancellations.
Fees: We have no Gate Fees. When comparing our fees to other tournaments please keep in mind that most tournaments charge family members an admission, or gate fee to watch their children play. These additional fees can add $250 - $300 to the cost of their tournaments, forcing some family members to stay home, and for the ones that attend some heartburn over having to fork over more money just to see their children play hockey.
Games: All teams are guaranteed three games. Please prepare to play games as early as 7:00AM on the first day of the tournament. Please do not apply if this is a problem.
Trophies: All teams that make it into the finals will receive individual player and team trophies.
Hotels: We require that all teams stay at one of the host hotels. Please refer to the Hotel Information page or click on the above Hotel Registration button form for room rates. Please note that all hotels have a two night minimum stay policy.
Party: All parents and coaches are invited to join in the party festivities on Friday night at the Crowne Plaza, and Inn on the River. The Party provides complimentary beer and entertainment. For the players, each team receives a pizza voucher. Teams are responsible for organizing their own pizza parties.
